If you ask what I do professionally, I could give you several answers.
I am an entrepreneur, digital business strategist, communications executive, systems builder, media founder, and mentor. I am the founder of Back To Marketing LLC and Dreams Made Real Inc., a co-founder and host of Tha Fix, and the Director of Communications at Blueprint 502.
But no single title fully explains who I am or what I am working to build.
The common thread connecting my work is simple: I build systems that help people, brands, and organizations turn their ideas, influence, and potential into sustainable value.
From Incarceration to Leadership
My professional story cannot be separated from my personal transformation.
As a young man, I went to prison. I take responsibility for the decisions that put me there, but I also decided that incarceration would not define the rest of my life.
Rebuilding required more than motivation. It required education, discipline, skilled work, accountability, service, and a long-term commitment to becoming someone capable of creating value for other people.
That experience shaped how I think about transformation today. Change is possible, but it does not happen through words alone. It requires vision, structure, consistent action, and the willingness to learn from failure without allowing failure to become your identity.
My journey eventually brought me into marketing, communications, technology, entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, media, and mentorship. It also brought me full circle: I am an alumnus of YouthBuild Louisville, the program from which Blueprint 502 evolved, and I now serve the organization as its Director of Communications.
That path influences the way I lead. I understand both the importance of opportunity and the personal responsibility required to make something of it.
I Build Enterprises, Not Just Projects
I do not view my professional identity as being limited to one employer, industry, or business. I see myself as an enterprise builder.
That means I am interested in creating brands, businesses, media properties, digital products, communities, and operating systems that can continue producing value beyond my direct labor.
I believe a completed project should become more than a finished task. Whenever possible, it should become an asset - a repeatable process, documented system, reusable framework, revenue stream, intellectual property, or piece of infrastructure that makes future growth easier.
This is why my work increasingly emphasizes recurring revenue, memberships, digital products, automation, strategic partnerships, sponsorships, media, software, and reusable organizational infrastructure.
The objective is not simply to make money from the next transaction. It is to build something that possesses lasting value.
Helping Creators Make the Creator-to-CEO Transition
Through Back To Marketing, I help creators and entrepreneurs move from having an online presence to owning a structured digital business.
Many talented people know how to attract attention, build an audience, or create compelling content. Far fewer have the infrastructure needed to convert that attention into predictable revenue, owned customer relationships, durable assets, and a business that can operate without depending entirely on one social platform.
I call this the creator-to-CEO transition.
Back To Marketing began in 2018 as a company focused on helping businesses, entrepreneurs, and creators establish and grow their online presence. Over time, I recognized that traditional marketing services and continuous client delivery could generate income without creating enough leverage - for my clients or for my own company.
That realization led me to reposition the business around creator monetization, AI-enabled operations, automation, digital products, memberships, revenue systems, strategic infrastructure, and what I call the Empire Buildout.
My belief is straightforward: marketing alone is not enough. Audience growth without ownership, infrastructure, and monetization leaves creators vulnerable to algorithms, policy changes, inconsistent brand deals, and short-term income cycles.
Attention should lead somewhere. Content should support a system. Work should produce assets that retain value.
The Organizations and Platforms I Am Building
Each part of my professional portfolio has its own mission, but the ventures are connected by a commitment to ownership, opportunity, communication, and sustainable growth.
Back To Marketing LLC
Back To Marketing is my business strategy and digital infrastructure company. Its work focuses on helping creators and entrepreneurs build smarter systems, automate operations, monetize their knowledge and audiences, and generate long-term revenue.
My areas of focus include digital products, memberships, content monetization, AI marketing tools, automation workflows, revenue-system development, executive consulting, and creator-to-CEO strategy.
Dreams Made Real Inc.
Dreams Made Real reflects my commitment to creators, artists, entertainment, and community opportunity. Its purpose is to help talented people with clean, positive music turn creative aspirations into structured opportunities through media, promotion, events, education, partnerships, and professional development.
Talent matters, but talent needs access, preparation, visibility, structure, and a real pathway to opportunity.
Tha Fix Media Network
Tha Fix is a media platform I co-founded and co-host with Jon Mic. Our perspective is rooted in two men whose lives moved from prison to purpose. Our guiding statement - “We lived it. Now we talk it.” - captures our commitment to discussing culture, current events, community issues, entertainment, and difficult subjects with honesty and lived experience.
Tha Fix is more than a podcast. We are building it as a media enterprise with content, memberships, community participation, merchandise, sponsors, events, collaborations, and multiple revenue opportunities.
It also serves as a real-world implementation of the systems I develop for creators and media brands.
Blueprint 502
As Director of Communications at Blueprint 502, I lead and support strategic communications, marketing, branding, public relations, storytelling, digital content, media engagement, and organizational communications systems.
This work allows me to combine executive communications with nonprofit service, youth advocacy, community impact, and lived experience. It is especially meaningful because I understand personally what can happen when an organization combines opportunity with standards, accountability, and support.
The Principles Behind My Work
I approach business and leadership through several core principles:
- Systems over hustle. Hard work matters, but effort without
infrastructure eventually reaches a limit.
- Ownership over dependency. Businesses and creators should build
assets, audiences, technology, and revenue channels they control.
- Durable value over short-term visibility. Attention is useful only
when it contributes to a larger objective.
- Revenue infrastructure over isolated transactions. Sustainable
enterprises need multiple, connected ways to generate income.
- Measurable outcomes over vanity metrics. Activity is not the same
as progress.
- Root-cause solutions over repeated temporary fixes. A strong
system should reduce the need to solve the same problem repeatedly.
- Automation and delegation over unnecessary manual effort. Leaders
should protect their time for the work that truly requires their judgment.
- Service and sustainability belong together. Mission-driven work
becomes stronger when it has sound revenue, management, and infrastructure behind it.
I also believe systems should remain proportional. Not every small task needs new software, a permanent workflow, or a complicated framework. Technology and structure should serve a defined purpose, and the expected value should justify the cost, risk, and effort involved.
How I Think About Leadership
To me, leadership is not primarily about a title. It is demonstrated through responsibility, preparation, service, judgment, accountability, and the ability to create conditions in which other people can succeed.
Strong leaders tell the truth clearly. They accept responsibility, make difficult decisions when necessary, establish fair standards, use resources carefully, document important knowledge, and prepare others to lead.
I do not believe mentorship should consist of motivation alone. Encouragement matters, but people also need honest guidance, professional standards, strategic thinking, useful skills, economic opportunity, and systems that support long-term success.
My responsibility as a mentor is not to make people dependent on me. It is to help them recognize opportunities, avoid preventable mistakes, strengthen their judgment, and become more capable of building for themselves.
What I Bring to the Table
My experience allows me to connect areas that are often treated as separate disciplines: strategic communications, digital marketing, brand development, organizational storytelling, media production, creator monetization, revenue design, AI, automation, systems development, and community engagement.
I naturally look beyond the individual deliverable to the larger system around it.
A website should not function as an isolated brochure. It should connect content, customer relationships, revenue, analytics, and operations. A marketing campaign should not disappear when the campaign ends; it should create reusable assets and knowledge. A media brand should not depend on views alone; it should develop multiple paths for audience ownership, engagement, and monetization.
My strength is translating a broad vision into a structure that people can understand, implement, measure, and improve.
The Work Ahead
I am building toward an interconnected portfolio of businesses, platforms, media properties, intellectual property, and community initiatives that create revenue, expand opportunity, and continue producing value beyond my direct involvement.
I want my work to help creators become owners and executives, strengthen mission-driven organizations, create opportunities for people whose potential is often overlooked, preserve knowledge for future leaders, and demonstrate what is possible after adversity.
I am interested in working with creators and entrepreneurs ready to build real enterprises, companies seeking strategic systems and partnerships, community organizations pursuing sustainable impact, and media or event partners looking for an experienced and authentic voice.
I am also available for select speaking, media, consulting, and collaboration opportunities related to entrepreneurship, creator monetization, communications, leadership, organizational systems, community impact, and the journey from prison to purpose.

My past is part of my story, but the most important part is what I chose to build after it - and what I can help others build next.
